Milestones &

Achievements

EGA was founded in North Carolina, initially focusing on roofing and metal wall panels. Our commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction laid the foundation for the company’s early success.

With steady growth, we expanded our reach by establishing a new office in Georgia, which became our headquarters. This move marked the beginning of a broader regional presence, allowing us to better serve clients across multiple states.

Building on our strong foundation, EGA made a significant shift to become a full-service building envelope contractor. The establishment of our Glass Division allowed us to offer a wider range of services, from roofing and wall systems to glazing solutions, enabling us to deliver complete building envelope solutions for our clients.

In response to growing demand, we opened our Front Royal, VA office. This expansion further strengthened our operational capabilities and increased our ability to serve diverse markets across the region.

EGA achieved MBE-APABE certification, solidifying our commitment to diversity and inclusion. This recognition reflects our dedication to continuous improvement and providing value to both our clients and the communities we serve.

Chris Shin

As Chief Operating Officer of Eastern Glass and Aluminum, Chris Shin is a visionary leader who challenges limits, pushing his team to achieve more than they thought possible. Since joining the company in 2008, he has played a pivotal role in expanding EGA’s capabilities, spearheading the launch of the glazing division in 2014 and transforming the company into a full-service building envelope contractor.

With a deep understanding of operations, project execution, and client collaboration, Chris ensures seamless delivery across all phases of construction. His strategic leadership has driven significant growth, optimizing workflows, strengthening industry partnerships, and positioning EGA as a trusted leader in the market.

Chris’s ability to bridge technical expertise with executive decision-making has been key to EGA’s continued success. He fosters a culture of accountability and problem-solving, empowering teams to meet complex challenges head-on.
